PM says Russia to give 12 bln rbl to support construction firms
MOSCOW, Apr 30 (PRIME) -- The Russian government will give 12 billion rubles to support of housing construction companies, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Thursday at a government meeting.
“We will allocate 12 billion rubles to support of construction companies under the order of the president,” he said.
It is important for houses to be finished and for people to get their property on time. The government will allocate the money to national housing development institution DOM.RF, which will compensate income shortfalls of banks that reduced interest rates on loans given to construction companies, he said.
The government will also direct 30 billion rubles to the solution of problems of cheated shared construction participants to finish construction of troubled residential houses and restore the rights of at least 10,000 citizens, he said.
The authorities plan to allocate 2 billion rubles to replenishment of reserves of state microfinancing companies and regional organizations that issue guarantees.
“We will provide additional support to small and medium-sized businesses. Besides interest-free loans, it would be easier for small and medium-sized companies from the industries hurt by the coronavirus to obtain easy-term loans and to restructure debts. We will allocate 2 billion rubles to budgets of Russian regions for replenishment of reserves of state microfinancing and regional organizations that issue guarantees,” he said.
In addition to that, the government will provide additional money to support the Russians who unable to get back home from other countries due to the coronavirus pandemic. The money will be used to pay for their accommodation, food, and prolongation of visas, he said.
